Why We're Exploring TENCEL™ Modal

As we develop the new MISSOSCA collection, fabric selection has been one of the areas we have spent the most time refining.

TENCEL™ Modal is known for its exceptionally soft hand feel and fluid drape, making it particularly well suited to elevated sleepwear.

Rather than choosing a fabric simply because it looks beautiful in photographs, we're focusing on how it actually feels to wear.

That means considering the weight, construction, opacity, recovery and finish before anything reaches our final collection.

Fabric Weight Makes a Difference

Two fabrics can contain similar fibres and still feel completely different.

Fabric weight and knit construction influence how a garment hangs on the body, whether it feels substantial or flimsy, how well it holds its shape and how comfortable it feels throughout the night.

For MISSOSCA, we're looking for that balance between beautiful drape and a premium, substantial feel.

It is one of the reasons our development process has taken longer than simply selecting an existing garment and adding our name to it.

Fabric is only the beginning.

The way a garment is cut, how the waistband sits, the quality of the buttons, the finish of the trims and even small details such as drawstrings and stitching all contribute to the final result.

These are details that may appear small individually, but together they determine whether sleepwear simply looks good — or genuinely feels luxurious.

Taking Our Time to Get It Right

The new MISSOSCA collection is still in development, and we're intentionally keeping some of the final details under wraps.

We're testing, refining and making changes where necessary rather than rushing a product to market before we're completely happy with it.
